Banana Fritters

Bananas are not only delicious to eat directly, they can even be processed into a variety of delicious creations. Fried bananas can be a delicious choice of banana creations. It tastes sweet, slightly savory, with a crunchy texture on the outside and soft banana on the inside. The shape is also beautiful to serve as a treat.

Ingredients

Serving 5 portion

  • 12 Banana, cut into medium size shape
  • 100 gr all-purpose flour
  • 100 gr rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt – 1
  • 200 ml water/ milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 500 ml cooking oil/ sunflower oil

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except bananas
  • Heat the cooking oil on medium heat
  • Dip the banana into the flour mixture while spreading the banana shape Immediately dip into hot oil
  • Fry while occasionally turning until the fried bananas are golden brown Lift then drain the oil
  • Ready to be served

Notes

  • Make sure the cooking oil is really hot so that when frying the bananas, the dough doesn’t fall to the bottom of the pan
  • Use a non-stick frying pan, better use a big sauce pot so you can use the deep fry method to gain a good result
  • Use medium ripe bananas, which are not too ripe
