Creamy Chia Pudding

What about chia pudding?

This food is a true invention in the food industry!

Chia pudding is a perfect meal for breakfast, tea meal or even supper. Salvia hispanica (it’s original name) is a species of flowering plant in the mint family. Chia seeds are full of nutrients, vitamins, such as A, B, D and E, and minerals, for instance, iron or magnesium. What’s more they are high in antioxidants, and contain 20% of protein and Omega 3 ALA. In other words, those seeds are a true healthy bomb!

They should be consumed by diabetics, since it helps in reducing the level of sugar. Also, it regulates cholesterol and lower blood pressure. Your bones are stronger and you have more energy! Sounds good, right?

So today we have a simple recipe for chia pudding, for vegans and not!

Time: the whole night

Serving: 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 glass of soymilk/normal milk
  • 2-3 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • (additional) blueberries, strawberries, banana

Preparation

Combine everything and put in the fridge for the whole night. Consume in the morning with favourite fruits.
