Recipe of Red Kuri Squash Jam
Ingredients
- 500g of red kuri squash
- 300g of apples
- 500g of sugar
- 4 vanilla pods
- 8 cinnamon sticks
Preparation
- Peel the squash, remove the seeds and dice it.
- Cook the squash in boiling water for 30 minutes.
- Cut the apples into small pieces.
- Put the squash in a blender and blend it.
- Add the sugar and apples and stir.
- Cook over low heat, stirring from time to time, for 20 minutes.
- Cut the vanilla pods in half.
- In each jar, put half a vanilla pod and a stick of cinnamon.
- Pour the jam into the jars and close the jars.
