Recipe of Red Kuri Squash Jam

Ingredients

  • 500g of red kuri squash
  • 300g of apples
  • 500g of sugar
  • 4 vanilla pods
  • 8 cinnamon sticks

Preparation

  • Peel the squash, remove the seeds and dice it.
  • Cook the squash in boiling water for 30 minutes.
  • Cut the apples into small pieces.
  • Put the squash in a blender and blend it.
  • Add the sugar and apples and stir.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring from time to time, for 20 minutes.
  • Cut the vanilla pods in half.
  • In each jar, put half a vanilla pod and a stick of cinnamon.
  • Pour the jam into the jars and close the jars.
