Recipe of Gravad Lax
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets of 500g
- 50g of powdered sugar
- 50g of coarse salt
- Chopped dill
- Peppercorns
Preparation
- Remove the fish bones from the fillets and wipe them dry.
- In a flat container, place the first fillet with the skin down.
- Mix the salt and the sugar.
- Sprinkle generously with salt and sugar.
- Place the second fillet on top of the first, skin side up.
- Place a plate on top with weights.
- Leave to marinate in the fridge for 12 hours.
- Turn the fillets over.
- Leave to marinate for 12 hours.
- Cut into thin slices.
