Recipe of Fig Jam

Ingredients

  • 500g of cane sugar.
  • 50cl of dry white wine.
  • 10cl of armagnac.
  • 2kg of figs.

Preparation

  • Cut the figs in half.
  • Put the figs in a saucepan with the whine and sugar.
  • Leave to macerate for 1 day.
  • Boil over low heat for about 30 minutes.
  • Add the armagnac.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Put the jam in the jar.
