Recipe of Mirabelle Pie
Ingredients
- 150g of flour
- 75g of butter
- 375g of mirabelle plums
- 50g of powdered almonds
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 50g of powdered sugar
- 1 glass of water
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Mix the flour, salt and butter.
- Gradually add water.
- Form a ball with the dough and let rest 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Remove the kernels from the mirabelle plums.
- Beat the egg with the sugar.
- Add the plums and almond powder. Stir.
- Spread 3/4 of the dough in the mould, let the edges beyond.
- Pour the mirabelle plum preparation.
- Spread the rest of the dough on top of the preparation.
- Seal the edges with a little water.
- Spread the egg yolk on top of the dough.
- Prick the top with a fork.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
