Satay Ayam Taichan (Chicken Skewer)

Ingredients

Served 5 portion

  • 500gr chicken breast
  • 2 limes/ kafir lime/ lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 red chilies
  • 3 garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 100 ml vegetable oil

Preparation

  • Wash and cut the chicken breast into cubes
  • Soak in saltwater, pepper, and crushed garlic and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  • Portion the marinated chicken with a skewer (1 skewer contain 3-5 cubes)
  • Prepare a non-stick pan, grill, or bbq pan to grill chicken
  • Grill chicken until cooked
  • For the sauce, rough blender red chilies, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper
  • Heat the oil, saute the sauce until fragrant, and set aside
  • Serve the chicken with lime/ kafir lime/ lemon zest on top and the sauce

Note
