Recipe of Shorba
Ingredients
- 800g of tomatoes.
- 80g of shallot.
- 35g of oil.
- 3g of turmeric.
- 2 cloves.
- 3 green cardamom.
- 1 cinnamon stick.
- 2g of thyme.
- 1 garlic clove.
- 2g of chili.
- Salt.
Preparation
- Heat the oil.
- Add the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Mix.
- Add the shallots. Stir.
- Add the chili. Stir.
- Add the tomatoes and enough water for the tomatoes to cook.
- Pour everything through a colander.
- Cook the garlic and thyme with a drizzle of oil.
- Pour the garlic and thyme into the tomato soup. Stir.
