Recipe of Pesto Sun Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 puff pastry.
  • 4 tablespoons of pesto.
  • 75g of pine nuts.
  • 1 egg yolk.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Spread the pesto on one of the puff pastry.
  • Place the pine nuts.
  • Places the second puff pastry on the first one and seal the edges with water.
  • Cut the pastry into strips going from the edges inward, leaving a 5cm untouched space.
  • Twist the pastry strips and brush them with the egg yolk.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
