Patatas a la Riojana is a typical dish from northern Spain. It is made with potatoes, chorizo and peppers. It is best when eaten warm.

Recipe of Patatas a la Riojana

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 chorizo
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 10ml of olive oil
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Cut the onion in small pieces and the pepper in half.
  • In a saucepan, drizzle the oil and cook the onion and the pepper.
  • Chopped the chorizo and add it.
  • Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in pieces.
  • Add the potatoes with some water.
  • Cut in pieces the bell pepper and add it.
  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Cook for 35 minutes while mixing sometimes and add water when necessary.
