Patatas a la Riojana is a typical dish from northern Spain. It is made with potatoes, chorizo and peppers. It is best when eaten warm.
Recipe of Patatas a la Riojana
Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 1 chorizo
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 pepper
- 1 onion
- 10ml of olive oil
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Cut the onion in small pieces and the pepper in half.
- In a saucepan, drizzle the oil and cook the onion and the pepper.
- Chopped the chorizo and add it.
- Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in pieces.
- Add the potatoes with some water.
- Cut in pieces the bell pepper and add it.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Cook for 35 minutes while mixing sometimes and add water when necessary.
