Recipe of French Pain Perdu

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette of stale bread.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 50g of powdered sugar.
  • 50cl of milk.
  • 20g of butter.
  • 10g of icing sugar

Preparation

  • Mix the eggs, sugar and milk.
  • Cut the bread into slices.
  • Soak the slices in the milk for a few seconds.
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter.
  • Cook the slices for 3 to 4 minutes per side over low heat.
  • Sprinkle with icing sugar.
