Comida tradicional de Bulgaria – muy rica y sabrosa
Ingredientes
- 500 g de pasta filo
- 200 g de sírene (queso blanco – queso búlgaro parecido a feta)
- 100 – 150 g harina
- 500 g yogur
- 3 huevos (medianos)
- 200 g aceite de girasol o mantequilla derretida
- 1/2 cucharita de soda bicarbonato de sódio o 20ml agua mineral con gas
Método de preparación
- Grease well the bottom and the sides of the pan (round pan).
- Crumble the white cheese in small bits.
- In a bow whisk together the eggs and the cheese.
- Add also half of the yogurt, flour, salt and baking soda, mix well till you get homogeneous mixture.
- Pour each pastry sheet with oil (one small spoon in some parts of the sheet. It is not good to make the banitsa too greasy) and then add some of the eggs-cheese filling (not more than 3 small spoons, because you should separate the mixture in all the sheets).
- Then roll the sheet and put it in the pan (put the sheets from outside to the center).
- When the pan is filled with the rolls, put above the other half of yogurt (better to spread it with a spoon).
- Bake in the oven for 40 minutes on 200C (until the top has gone golden brown).
- When the banitsa is ready, cover with a cloth or with a newspaper for few minutes. Then sеrve with smile 🙂
