Gnocchi can really be one of your favorites and they get better when paired with carbonara sauce. It’s tempting to taste and can fill you up with just the right amount of goodness and flavor. It will surely be a delicious and easy dish to cook even at home. No need to go to a restaurant, just grab a few ingredients and follow this recipe to enjoy that meal!

Recipe of Gnocchi with Carbonara Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of potato
  • 200g of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g bacon
  • 500 ml of cream
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Provencal herbs
  • Pepper and oregano

Procedures:

  • We put the potatoes to boil, when they are soft we mash them well until they have a puree texture.
  • We add an egg, the yolk of another, salt, Provencal herbs, we are adding flour little by little and mixing well.
  • When a dough has already been made, sprinkle the rest of the flour on the bank and knead well. We are taking pieces and turning them into cylinders.
  • We cut to the desired size and make small incisions with a fork. To finish making them, they are put in boiling salted water and when they come up, remove us with a slotted spoon.
  • I have accompanied them with a carbonara sauce.
  • For which we have put chopped onion in a pan, when it browns we add the bacon, when it begins to be crisp, it is the turn of the cream, we add salt and pepper to taste.
  • When everything is well linked, we add the yolk of an egg, mix and we have it ready to serve with the gnocchi.
  • Sprinkle oregano on top of the plate.
