Recipe of Pear Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of orange blossom water.
  • 10cl of milk.
  • 150g of powdered sugar.
  • 1 sachet of baking powder.
  • 250g of flour.
  • 1 egg.
  • 75g of butter.
  • 3 pears.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  • Mix the sugar with the butter, baking powder and milk.
  • Separate the egg white and yolk.
  • Pour the egg yolk and flour into the mixture and knead the dough.
  • Add the orange blossom water.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Peel and dice the pears.
  • Add the pears to the mixture.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Gently pour in the whites while stirring continuously.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Bake for another 40 minutes at 160 ° C.
