Irish coffee is a drink that is said to have been invented during WWII in Ireland. A pub owner would have had the idea of mixing coffee and whiskey to warm up and energise people doing transatlantic travels.
Ingredients
- 4cl of Irish Whiskey.
- 1 cup of coffee.
- 2 teaspoons of sugar.
- Whipped cream.
Preparation
- Pour hot water into your glass.
- In a saucepan, heat the whiskey with the sugar. Don’t boil the whiskey.
- Empty the glass of water and pour the whiskey.
- Pour the coffee into the glass.
- Add the whipped cream on top of the glass.
