Recipe of Mirabelle Pie

Ingredients

  • 150g of flour
  • 75g of butter
  • 375g of mirabelle plums
  • 50g of powdered almonds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50g of powdered sugar
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Mix the flour, salt and butter.
  • Gradually add water.
  • Form a ball with the dough and let rest 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Remove the kernels from the mirabelle plums.
  • Beat the egg with the sugar.
  • Add the plums and almond powder. Stir.
  • Spread 3/4 of the dough in the mould, let the edges beyond.
  • Pour the mirabelle plum preparation.
  • Spread the rest of the dough on top of the preparation.
  • Seal the edges with a little water.
  • Spread the egg yolk on top of the dough.
  • Prick the top with a fork.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
