Can it be even fancier? This vegetarian, exotic burger with halloumi and kiwi is just right for you. We show you the recipe step by step. 


125g halloumi cheese 
1 kiwi 
1 tomato 
2 potatoes 
2 sesame buns 
40 ml mayonnaise 
salt and pepper 
oil and butter for frying 


Preheat oven to 150 °. 

Cut halloumi cheese into slices (1 cm). Peel and slice the kiwi. Wash the tomato, halve, cut out the stalk and cut into slices. Wash potatoes and cut them into thin slices. 

Spread the potato chips onto a baking paper covered baking sheet. 
Sprinkle with plenty of salt and pepper and put the sheet into the oven for 10-15 minutes. 

Cut the sesame buns in half. Heat 1 tbsp. of butter and fry the buns for 2-3 minutes. 
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan and fry Halloumi on each side for 2-3 minutes. 

Spread buns with a little mayonnaise. Then top up with halloumi, kiwi, tomato slices and some potato chips.
