Here is a typical Spanish tapas recipe to share with family or friends!
- 80g of flour
- 50ml of milk
- 4 slices of Serrano ham
- 150g of grated cheese
- 1/2 glass of milk
- 2 eggs
- 30g of butter
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- frying oil
- salt and pepper
Cut the ham into thin slices.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and mix well.
Gradually add the milk, stirring until a thick béchamel sauce is obtained. Add salt, pepper and the nutmeg.
Remove the preparation from the heat and add the grated cheese and ham strips and mix.
Put the sauce in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and milk. Put the bread crumbs on a shallow plate.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and form small balls with your hands then pass them through the egg-milk mixture and then through the breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in the fryer and cook them until they are golden brown.
Serve hot. You can serve it with a spicy sauce if you wish.
