A delicious and easy garlic bread recipe for the cheese lovers!
- 1 loaf of bread (8 ounce)
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese and/or cheddar
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 2 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of parsley
First, take the butter out of the fridge an hour before starting to cook. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
Cut bread into 1 inch thick slices. Either cut all the way through or don’t. In a bowl mix the parmesan, butter, garlic, parsley.
Spread it on the bread. (Between the slice if you have not cut all the way through).
Wrap the loaf in aluminium. Leave the top partially uncovered.
Bake for about 10 minutes until the butter has melted.
You can also use cheddar or mozzarella instead of parmesan.
