Easy and quick calzone

Are you tired from a long day and need a quick and delicious recipe for dinner? I got you.

Try this calzone: it doesn’t require leavening and you can cook it in a pan. Is there anything better you could ask for?


  • 300 grams of flour
  • 170 ml of lukewarm water
  • 1/2 of a pocket of instant baking powder for savoury breads
  • 6 grams of salt
  • 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • tomato sauce
  • scamorza
  • oregano


Mix the dried ingredients in a bowl (flour, baking powder and salt). Then add water and oil and mix with your hands until the dough is smooth and omogeneous.

Roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Cut some disks and fill them each with 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce. Add also salt, oregano and the sliced scamorza. Bend the filled disks in a half and seal them.

Cook them in a pan with some oil on both sides until they bown.
