Days are getting shorter and colder. Instead of drinking hot tea, try to warm up with delicious Chili con carne.
It’s one of the most popular Spanish food.
Time: 45 minutes
- 1 big onion, chopped in slices
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne
- 500g of mince
- 1 teaspoon of dry oregano
- 4 tomatoes, chopped in cubes
- 200g of red beans
- 100 ml of chicken broth
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper and black pepper
- Pinch of salt
First, get the chicken broth ready, using a bouillon cube.
Pour oil into a large frying pan. Add into the pan slices of onion, garlic, organo, sweet pepper and chili. Fry for about 1 minute. Add mince and fry.
Chop the tomatoes in cubes and add them to the pan. Add black pepper and salt. Stir. Later, cover with lid and let the preparation simmer for 20 minutes, stir from time to time. After the 20 minutes add the chopped pepper and cook for the next 10 minutes.
Finally, add red beans and stirring, cook for 3-5 minutes. Pour gradually the broth into the stew.
