Winter Cookies

Baking crispy and sweet winter cookies… That’s fun for the whole family during the cold season!

When outside the snow is falling there is nothing more cosy than baking some winter cookies. Here is an especially easy recipe, so the whole family can help baking and enjoy the delicious result.

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 8 g vanilla sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 package backing powder

Method of preparation

Knead all the ingredients to a dough. You can use a mixer or your hands. When finished with the dough, let it cool down in the fridge. After a few minutes it is time to roll out the first portion of the dough with a rolling pin on a surface covered with a little bit of flour. Now there is no limit for your imagination! Stars, moons and al kind of animals come to life when you cut out the different shapes.

The last thing you have to do, is to bake the winter cookies at 200° C and wait 8 or 12 min. until they turn golden brown. If you like, you can decorate the little cookies or eat them straight away without decoration, if you are too hungry too wait.
