Refreshing lemonade

Last week, we represented you benefits of lemon water. Today, we have its “sister” lemonade! 🙂

What is a difference between lemon water and lemonade? It isn’t big, to be honest.
In lemonade, there is a lot of lemon juice whereas in lemon water you just add slices of lemon. Besides, lemonade contains sugar. You may say it isn’t as healthy as lemon water, but still people love it and drink it, especially, during the summer.

It’s easy to make. And because of that, it disappears quickly.It’s perfect for every time of a day, particularly the hot ones when your body needs to be hydrated and you lose many important substances by sweat.

Time: 20 minutes

Serving: 5

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cold water
  • 1 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup of sugar or 6 tablespoons of honey
  • ice cubs and lemon slices

Preparation

Start with pouring the water into pitcher. Then, add lemon juice and stir. Add sugar or honey and stir until it is dissolved. Serve over ice cubes and add lemon slices.
